The cheapest front recovery points I found were SRQ Fabricators for my 4th
4th/5th 4Runner, FJ Cruiser, GX470 Recovery Points
They came unpainted. Coated them with primer and then some rustoleum farm and implement paint. The shackles have a much wider span than the recovery point is wide. After searching for rubber washers for a stupid high price, I decided to buy a $2.50 foot of 1” coolant hose. Cut off two 3/4” length and then halved them to get two spacers per shackle. Coolant hose is reinforced and durable to last 10 years or more. Came out really nice and fits snug so the shackles shouldnt be swinging around, and they sit level as well. Plus, if these get ruined, I have plenty of spares to replace them with. (I used 1” hose because this is the hole size on the recovery points. Otherwise it could get pinched in the hole)
BTW The holes on the recovery points were straight cut, and before painting I used my dremmel with a grinding stone and beveled the shackle holes on both sides.
