New headlight bulb, still inconsistent

Noticed my driver side low beam headlight was "out." Took that opportunity to upgrade bulbs with bulbs recommended in one of the stickies here. As I was installing the new ones, the drivers side still wasn't working although the passenger side turned right on. I took it out, re-seated it, and viola, let there be light, I thought all was good. A day later I started the truck, turned the headlights on, and nothing from the driver's side low beam, I tapped the headlight a few times and once again, it turned on. I am 100% sure it's seated well, so what should I do? Is there a cleaner of some sorts I should use on the truck's electrical connection and then re-seat it? Or do I have a more significant electrical issue potentially?

I did notice a Xenon box thing on the inside of the hood area, but it doesn't seem to be hooked up at this point in the truck's life. I purchased the truck about 8 months ago, so I do not really know the history. I have not had any issue with any of the other fog lights, brights, or passenger side low beam.

Thank you in advance!

You either have an electrical issue at the plug or in the wiring close to the plug.

If you are running conventional bulbs I would suggest taking out the hid ballast. If the oem harness is still running through them then thats probably the issue.

Thank you, I'll take a closer look tomorrow in the light and see if I can follow the wires from the HID ballast and see if anything is still running through it.

The current bulbs I installed are:
Auxbeam 9005 LED Headlights F-S2 Series with 2Pcs 9005 HB3 H10 9145 LED Headlight Bulbs Conversion Kits 72W 8000LM Super Bright COB Led Chips Fog Ligh

Auxbeam LED Headlights F-S2 Series H11 LED Headlight Bulb with 2 Pcs of H11 LED Conversion Kits 72W 8000LM Bridgelux COB Chips Fog Light - 1 Year Warr

I know very little about electrical, so may end up taking some pics for more feedback.

Thanks!
