I've been meaning to make a thread on here about the grill and after seeing the price tag out there there this may be the right time. I'd rather see members spend their money on worth while upgrades than be taken advantage of.
Interested in what the bottom portion looks like. Looks pretty much cut to fit on the top/sides. Interested on what you used to bond it all together as well.

The 03-05 grill has different dimensions and sits flush with the hood. I'm really invested in trying to figure out how to make this style grill out of my 04 grill, and it may be that I have to use a 2nd gen Tacoma insert. I'll be attempting to make it work in the next few weeks.

I'll attach a really rough looking photoshop of what it might look like. sorry for the low photo quality. Camera ss was set to something slow and I don't have a steady hand lol

I am glad to have found this thread. I saw these grills on the FB and was about to purchase one but found out they are coming from overseas through possibly Alibaba.com. I found the supplier there and made an order. It should be here in a month but I’m not in a hurry. Super excited to give the face lifted 4th gen another face lift.

How did you re-attach the V8 badge to the TRD style grille? I'm looking at replacing my OEM due to age/cracking and considering this but haven't found any info on easily attaching the V8 badge again.

Typically these attach with machine screws that extend through the grill and then you tighten it down with nuts on the back.

Interesting. I couldn't find any photos so it is hard to tell as the ones from the link just indicate a pin coming out the back. I reached out to the vendor to see if they have any additional photos or details. If anyone has one and could take a photo of it for me, that would be awesome. Just want to make sure I grab everything that's needed appropriately since I can't use my old V8 badge from my OEM grille I am pulling off.
