You'd be surprised to find out that a good amount of people on here (especially new members with 5 posts) don't search before asking. He was looking for anyone with experience with them - one click of my thread redirect link and he has access to hundreds of people with 4runners, with experience with them - road noise, wear, other manufacturer comparisons... It is the master thread on Wildpeaks - I should know because i'll be looking for a third set come spring

Keep on keeping on, eh

I wish someone I knew would get these so I could experience them. I really like my KO2s and am able to find good deals on them, but these are quite a bit cheaper. I do like the way they look but would like to run them in Moab sometime and see how they do.

Been researching these and there are way too many threads on the tacoma forums saying these are terrible. Too bad, I really wanted to see something different.

Thanks for posting the thread link, I'd already seen the main thread and was hoping for someone who had driven these long term or with similar to what I had before would chime in (thanks @Boudin). Probably should have clarified that.

I know how much everyone here hates when folks don't search. Many of the posts on the main thread are from people either thinking about purchasing or who had only driven a few miles after install. It's kinda difficult to sift through, it spans several years and gets pretty repetitive.

Just purchased a set of these, hopefully will have them installed sometime next week!

Understand!
We'll just leave it at that haha

Congrats on the purchase - I think you will be very pleased with them. Definitely spend the money to get them road force balanced the first time- it took a couple tries with my first set, but my second is still smooth and wearing well after over 70k (if the PO's records are accurate, which they should be)...

Thanks for the tip, I had never heard of road force balancing until today.

Those are the "P" rated version

Falken has a sale on Wildpeak AT 265-70-17 115T at $120.30. They may be selling out this years model with possibly an upgrade next year

I havent been able to find a tire shop to match this

If you're looking for an AT or slightly bigger tire here you go

https://www.amazon.com/Falken-Wildpe...s%2C166&sr=8-1
they will be cheaper then the LT rated tires...and they may have a shallower tread depth..

FYI - the date of manufacture on mine were the 43rd week of 2019
- 10/21/2019 - so brand new

For me, I like the lighter tire based on what I do. I would rather take MPG than a heavier tire/ more side wall with deep tread.

I do some off roading/ rock crawling with airing down, but also drive it quite a bit

Can you provide some links? Strange, I did a lot of research on them before buying and I read nothing but rave reviews. There was one thread of people having issues balancing them though, but I've read many reviews of other tires being hard to balance.

Regardless, I've been running Wildpeaks AT3Ws for about 15k kms the past year and I'm very happy with them (265/70/17). They are as quiet as my Bridgestone Dueller H/T highway tires. I took them to Alaska on a 10k km road trip and drove the Denali Highway aired down to 22 PSI with no punctures or flats at all.
Compared to Duratracs I had on my Tacoma, these are much more quiet and handle better in light snow. I'm very happy with them.

Hmmm All 4 of mine were made in USA. Well they should all have 55k warranty - good luck!

The Tacoma forums are filled with bad reviews, unfortunately.
