Lift question. Billies 5100+ FJC Moog+ front daystar 1"+1"back

X-reas finally started to leak!

After going through all kinds of threads to select proper lift setup.....
I already have 33'" tires on the truck, i dont have extra weight and I want to keep stock lca's and uca's for now( just replaced all arms and joints). Also I dont quite understand the point of having diff drop of 1 inch if i'm loosing clearance of 1 inch to gain extra 1 inch with suspension lift.

Bottom line, will I benefit with the 1 inch daystar on top of new setup or change setting 1 notch up ? And will it be enough to have only 1 inch spacer on the back with fjc Moog's ?

Wow, not a single reply, too many questions?

Fine, then here is just one.

Who has 3 inch lift at the front with stock uca/lca and had no problems with joints driving etc ?

maybe diff drop help the cv angle a little?
i think reading some threads, the stock uca has a limit, aftermarket uca will give you additional caster, this helps with steering and control. if they can get at-least 3 at the caster with stock uca, you might be good. im no suspension expert, but others can chime in.

I'm curious about this as well. I have 5100s w/ Moog springs and stock UCAs and alignment is in spec. But I'm going to eventually swap out the Moogs for OME springs which is going to push me up another 1"+.

Also curious about the best aftermarket UCAs. I've seen a lot of people switch from Total Chaos UCAs to SPC but just wondering what the concensus was.

-Bilstein 5100 all the way around (set the front to 2.5") w/ 1.5" spacers in the back.
-275/70/17 BFG K02 A/Ts
-1" Hubcentric spacers (bought from eBay, working great had them for about 10k)

I attached a picture next to another T4R. It's not the best pic.

I experienced rubbing in the front and pushed the plastic wheel wells away from the tires. I eventually ended up trimming the front bumper to improve the approach angle. OE UCA/LCA with no problems. Drives great.

I would love to get OME springs but the prices bite in comparison to moog brand. I bet articulation is better with OME due to bilsteins are usually being set at 0 with them.
