Headlight Recommendations

I have a 2005. Lens are cracked & faded. Any good non-OEM brands?

The headlight lenses on my 2008 are clouded up and I recall looking on ebay at non- OEM lenses about a year ago. IIRC, prices weren't bad but my old brain doesn't remember what that was...

I would 100% recommended getting OEM I had a aftermarket set from 1AAuto that kept getting water in them and I had to keep getting a replacement under warranty and installing it. I did that 5 times until I came to the conclusion my time is worth spending the extra money and getting OEM ones. But then again could have just been that brand.

TYC/Anzo are generally regarded as the good aftermarket brands. OEMassive is another one entering the picture that's in good standing as of recent.

I would recommend replacing them with the 06+ OEM headlights. You can find them online such as, rockauto.com
They are projector style and you can easily install LEDs in them. You also have to install a grill trim piece which is also on rockauto.

Plenty of write-ups online for the conversion.

Anyone use the TYC headlights from Rockauto? How's the quality? Would you recommend the CAPA ones?

I've read that the reflectors in the OEM housing are FAR superior and more precise than the aftermarket units.

I ended up getting a used set from someone who bought aftermarket headlights. I restored the lenses and clearcoated them. They look brand spanking new!

If you then restore your original set. You can sell them at a premium.
