Id go with another toyota battery. My v8 4runner is 14 years old and in on my 2nd battery. Just got a quote for my v6 4runner battery from toyota parts and it was 100.00.

If not get a MAXX battery from Wal-Mart. They are 94.00 with a 3 year unconditional warranty and a addl 2 year prorated. Plus Wal-Mart's are everywhere in case something happens.

I was told true start batteries were made by Johnson controls or claria.

I don't know. The parts guy at my local dealer told me Interstate. Go figure.
