Head gasket problem years

I’m going to look at a 4runner tomorrow for my wife. Limited 06. When did they update the heads for less of a chance of HG problems? I can’t remember if it is 06 or 07

Look on the VIN sticker on the any early V6 driver's door jamb, look at the build date, anything 12/05 and after should be good and have the updated gaskets, so some early 06s could have the old gaskets, later build 06s and onward have the new head gaskets.

All year V8s are good to go.
