Has anyone seen this befor?

I ordered a set of front 1.5" lift spacers. The total thickness of the spacer is .750 of an inch. So far so good. But here is where the problem is (I think). The stock studs on the strut plate stick out past the spacer plate about 7mm. With this condition, the top of the strut will not sit flush with the bottom of the strut tower ( The stock studs and nut will crash into the bottom of the strut tower) Am I missing something? I included some pics... NOTE: the studs with the nuts on them and how they stick up past the lift plate...

Has any seen this before? I can trim the stock studs and get a shorter nut but I really do not want to do that... Also with the lift plate only being 3/4 of an inch thick it seems that is the only option.

Please advise!

You 2 options
1. Cut the studs
2. get a thicker wheel spacer.

I had to do the same on my 06 GMC when i put spacers on it, the stud was too long and in order to get a flush mount, i cut the stud.

Yea I have been looking into it and Yea that is what I am going to do. I will also have to get shorter nuts or turn the factory ones down on the lathe...

Have you checked with the vendor you got them from?

I did not check. However, being this spacer is only .750" thick, There is not enough material to make the pocket any deeper. Now if I was to get a 1"
(2" lift) or thicker spacer the studs would not stick up past the top of the spacer.
Thanks for your input !!
