Talking Damn!!

Hot damn! I love this truck! This thing hauls ass! I don't even have VVTI V8! Wow....this is my first suv/big car I've purchased. I used to drive small cars and now I'm hooked. I don't think I can go back. A week after I bought my car, my friend bought an '07 RL and I'm not impressed at all comparing it to my slightly used 04 v8 SE I love the capability of this thing. 4x4, V8, Torsen whatever, kick ass X-REAS (though I can't tell the difference what is does since this is 2nd SUV I've ever drove). It accelerates so good that I almost played bumper cars couple of times on the road. Oops! I must tame the beast!

Now I gotta raise it up, get some tires, and find a damn place to go 4 wheeling in this flat ass MD.

have fun enjoying your V8 power!! i switch car with my wife once awhile and last night we went out had a late dinner. after that she took the V8 and i took our 2nd car, Honda Accord. she just drove it as the way she handle the Accord. no need to say, she smoked me once we pulled out the parking lot.

Welcome to the 4Runner Family! The longer you drive the V8 4Runner the more you will love it. I really get that warm and fuzzy feeling when I'm towing or off-roading. There is nothing like the feeling when the truck is loaded to the roof, dog in the back, towing the camper and cruising down the highway with the little women.

I recently purchased a Lexus IS350. My wife was supposed to give up the 4Runner (as transportation to work) and drive the new car. After a week she asked me to use the car. She said she missed the 4Runner's ability to drive over poor roads and the commanding view over the other traffic. She also got caught on a flooded road and had to turn around. She said she could have just hit the high setting on the rear air susp and gone through.
