I would check the power to the
back door ECU, if it is there then maybe an Ebay replacement to see if it is fried. Given the situation I would think either a connector/wire was loosened during the install or the back door ecu is bad.
Did you check fuse under the hood labeled ECU-B
Another conversation I found
""Hi guys,
Its been a year, Since first problem has occurred, first, a rear hatch lock stopped working. Then rear wiper, then rear washer, then rear window defogger, then inside rear light was gone, then a fuse responsible for rear components was burned a few times. I was disconnecting all those back door options one by one off. Even I physically disconnected wiring I wasn’t sure what is causing problem. And just recently back door window stuck in lower position. To make it short, I went back to reading forums and in my own post i found a right answer. A forum member “KBALL” from Toyota nation sad to check wires going from car body to rear hatch, I pulled back a rubber boot, BINGO all 15 wires were broken off. I soldered all wires, reconnected all components and everything works since then.""
