Bronze wheels on blue 4th gen
Looking to get a set of wheels. Been looking at the FX wheels but seems they are not being made anymore. Now I need a alternate. I have a blue 4th gen and I'm thinking the dark bronze. I have a 3" lift but want better offset that brings wheels out more then the stock 17" wheels to clear the suspension more for bigger tires. I'm unsure what size to get with aftermarket. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

Don't think it's the same blue, but...
SCS F5 Matte Dark Bronze
17 x 8.5
4.3 BS
-10mm offset
Cooper STT Pro 285/70/17
JBA UCA +4deg
I had to BMC, YMMV
edit: fixed tire size, I wrote 285/75, I'm running 285/70

If you're talking about the FN Fx Pro wheels, they are still being made as far as I know. You just have to call Dustin. Great guy and customer service.

I'd like to go with maybe a 17x8.5 like you have. Those are kind of what I'm looking for

17″ FN Wheels ƒ(x) Pro | FN Wheels Store
These would have plenty of clearance for 285/70/R17s.

I'm looking at doing bronze on my Galactic Gray. Honestly, the bronze looks good on just about anything, IMO.

Reason I need wheels is the stock wheel and tire combo sit close to the suspension/control arm up front on inside of the wheel. I cant go much bigger in tire size or inside will hit control arm

Yep, I have an '03 V8 LTD and I've looked at the tire to suspension clearance with the stock rims and tire size and it's under an inch if I recall correctly.
