Electrical Gremlins

Had my rig for a few months and noticing some minor electrical issues. Every once an a while when I take my key out the emergency flashers go on for a few cycles. Seems like this type of issue is usually attributed to a fault in a ground connection. Does anyone have a diagram or information on where these are or how I can identify them? Also the vehicle came with an aftermarket head unit. They did not ground the parking brake wire (found out when I tried to use Android Auto), and I wonder if this could be the cause of these issues?

I have a 2019 ORP and have experienced something similar. I figured out that when I put the key in the ignition, I always put it in with the lock-unlock buttons facing me. When I would remove the key, my thumb would squeeze on one or the other of those buttons and cause the lights to flash. I started putting the key in the switch with the buttons facing away from me and now my fat thumb can't mash any buttons when removing the key.

No flashing lights since I have been doing this. I don't know if this is your issue but you never know.

Didn't think of that, but would be great if that was the case. Unfortunately I just have a standard key and the fob is out of the way so it's unlikely that I'm hitting the button. Makes me wonder if it's related to the alarm system?
