I am about at that point, getting it off is no problem, it's getting it back on, that's the problem. There's just not a lot of room to work and only wanted to this once. But hopefully try #3 is it.

Found a thread on another forum and messaged someone who reported years back a 2649MM works. So hoping he replies with some positive feedback.

I'll post up when I have it sorted.

All Supercharger Brothers, who would have thought getting some tech help from Toyota would be so difficult.
Had the rig at the dealer for differential axle seal and asked them to find a new belt, and/or tell me the specified length. Instead, all they told me was the Toyota part was discontinued and that was all they could tell me about it. Super helpful.

Pulled the belt and found the original Toyota Part # PRT30-17433 on it, but also found in only 1 spot Dayco #00602-17-620-433. Searched that part# on Dayco website and it says the updated part is # 5061030 / 6PK2615. That belt is 2620MM OD and it's too short. Emailed Dayco and they swear that is the right part. I can't get it on for the life of me. Emailed Dayco again and then got a reply that the alternator pulleys on various years are slightly different, but they still think that is the right replacement belt.

Should have done this first but didn't- I measure the belt I pulled, and it is 2630MM or so. I also dug out my original purchase paperwork and found an info sheet for the super charger and it lists the disco'd Toyota belt plus a Gates belt K061031, that belt is 2633MM. Oh yeah while I have the belt off, I find the idler pulley #2 is completely shot.

Did I mention the dealer quoted me $459 to change the belt. Last time it was $152 including the belt, I asked why the price went up so much and all the service writer could do was squirm and make up some nonsense about increases in costs. I said that is 3x the cost of last time. Me = Yeah, no thanks.

When I called today to inquire about the pulley, I was quoted $190 which is way too much as well.

$28 belt at Napa, and pulley on order - be here Monday.

Pretty sure that was my last visit to this specific dealer for my personal rigs.

Gates belt K061031, that belt is 2633MM- will put it on Monday and confirm it fits.

May I have your supercharger, for Christmas? I'd be real happy.

Update, finally got the right belt which is 2649MM long OD. I think the 03 has a slightly different alternator pulley then the other V8 years.

All is good - this thing rips. When I jump in my 5th gen it's just not the same.

I can't say if the alternator pulley is different sizes from early V8s to later V8s...but I do know for a fact that the serpentine belt tensioner pulley did change size from 2003 and early 2004 V8s to later 2004 and onward V8s, the 2003 and early 2004 are 102mm and the later 2004 and onward has a 90mm pulley.

I discovered this fact when I had to replace my tensioner pulley, I just happened to get a rough measurement of the pulley before going to buy one and it measured approximately 4" and the pulley he tried to sell me was approximately 3 1/2" and I told him it was the wrong pulley that mine was 4" he tried to assure me it was the correct one listed for a 2004 V8, so I had him look at a 2003 V8 pulley and it was 4" which is what I needed, I also had a very hard time removing the old belt because it appears that when the PO had it replaced they used the belt for a 3 1/2" and when I installed the belt for 2003 it was easy to install, I would have never been able to get a belt for a 3 1/2" pulley on, at least not as easily as it should be, I'm not sure how whoever replaced the belt got the old one on but I almost sure it was partly responsible for the old pulley failing when it did besides age and normal wear and tear.
