those are called bypass filters, they are designed & intended for fleet type vehicles or over the road semi trucks that see millions of miles in the service life of the engine & they are usually in addition to the factory filters. they do filter very good but simply are not needed for a normal daily driver or even a performance vehicle. & im sure you were being sarcastic but the filter did not have anything to do with him winning drag races...

good to read through these old threads & see the typical nonsense about oils & other fluids. i forgot about catrains telling everyone they have to use toyota brand oil & fluids or it will damage their engine.... LOL!

Any synthetic 5W30 will get your engine to a million miles with proper OCI. Debating oil brands tends to largely be a waste of time. More important factors are ensuring your oil level is maintained. These engines are not highly stressed and we don't drive these engines at redline constantly (I have a car with an 8000 rpm redline and oil is a more concerning topic on that engine).
