Help! Traction control, VSC Trac, VSC off light, are all on after body lift install
Yesterday I installed the toytec 1" body lift. Now every time I drive the vehicle after about 1 minute the slip indicator, VSC Trac, and VSC off lights come on. Iv'e seen a few threads on these lights but nothing relating it to the body lift. Can I go get the codes read on this?

Can it be Zero point calibration that it needs? Even though I think that it is usually caused by an OBD scanner.

Disconnect your battery for a few reconnect. See if it doesn't reset it. I've had to do this a few times.

I disconnected battery for about 10 minutes and checked all brake wires near the master cylinder which all seem good without any stretching. The lights still come on. Does anyone know of more locations of the ABS or VSC wiring. I also want to state that I haven't done any traction control mods.

Actually the battery disconnect did to fix it. Thanks for the help. Didn't think it would be that easy. I will check that thread if they come back on.

I had this happen to my IS300 once and it was the ABS sensor wire was damaged... ALL those lights were on.

Let us know if the battery disconnect was a permanent or temporary fix.
If temporary, signs point to stretched wire.

When they come back on do a ZPC...note the orientation of your ODBII plug, it is upside down from the picture here. Use a paperclip or short wire to make the connections.

VSC \ VSC off lights
I don't have an answer, but I have a similar situation. I replaced the timing belt and water pump. Everything sounds and feels fine, but when I put the truck in gear and begin to move, both the VSC / VSC off lights illuminate. They do not illuminate when I start the truck, only when I begin to move forward or reverse. I would really like to get them to turn off.

I installed a Toytec Boss 3" lift in my 2003 4runner over the weekend. I drove the 4R after the install for about 30min and no lights came on. At the alignment shop, the VSC Trac and VSC Off lights came on. The tech "tried to reset them" (whatever that means) but they didn't go off.
Based on this thread, we used a voltmeter to continuity test all of the ABS sensors. They all tested fine.
I took the 4R to the dealership for diagnostic where they determined it needed a ZPC reset which they did inclusive in the $75 diagnostic fee. Now we're back in action!
