Daystar Spacer Kit Help - Thank you in advance!

Hey everyone, I ordered a daystar 2.5"/1.5" lift kit PN KT09115BK for my 06 4th gen. It looks like the stud extenders included may be wrong? Can someone lend some help/advice?

The smooth part of the extender that seats within the spacer isn't the same height as the spacer. (I expected them to be.) Additionally, the bag of stud extenders referenced they were for a Ford 2" lift.

Pics are attached for reference. Thank you all for your help!

I don't have any personal knowledge about this but I looked up the kit and it does appear that the shank on your studs is shorter than they should be. I'll try to post a link to the pic on the listing. But that being said, if they will correctly thread onto the studs on top of your struts they might still work ok. Probably best to contact Daystar to be sure though. Good luck with it. I hope to be getting mine soon. Sorry, it wouldn't let me post the link.

Yep, I would call Daystar. I'm getting ready to install their 1" thick spacer and my spacer studs are same thickness as plastic spacer. I bought new KYB tophats to install too and just finished cutting down the studs on them so the spacer studs screw down all the way on them.

You are correct. Those are definitely the wrong stud extenders. If I remember correctly when I installed mine, the stud extenders were the same length or a 16th of an inch shy of the spacer.

Thanks

Thanks, guys. Much appreciated. This may help others:

I contacted daystar and they confirmed 03-09 T4R 2.5 Inch Front spacers should come with stud extender part number BU76105. (This comes in both the front 2.5 and front 2.5/rear 1.5 kits and does not need to be ordered separately. This is a bag that's contained within each kit.)

Daystar offered to ship out the correct hard-wear.

I wanted to post on here in addition to chatting with Daystar because I read somewhere that they were less than competent at helping out on the phone. I did not find that to be the case; they were pretty easy to get a hold of and were happy to confirm part numbers with confidence. That said their package left something to be desired because I got incorrect parts and also got various instructions/pamphlets pertaining to a few different vehicles but none of them applied to Toyota at all.

Installed the Daystar 1" front spacer kit on my '03 V8 LTD this week and really like the change, leveled it out nicely. I also installed new KYB top-hats as mine were original and rusted/ugly. I painted them red but didn't realize you wouldn't see them anyway as the hat no longer protrudes above the shock tower!

Also, the KYB's I received were different than the stock ones I removed in that they have a built in 5/8" rubber spacer/biscuit inside the hat, so required removing the lower/upper shock rubber biscuit or the shock stem will not protrude through the hat far enough for rubber isolator/washer/nut … found out after I had one side finished to that point. Removed lower rubber biscuit on the shock stem reinstalled and GOOD!
