Upper Ball Joint/Lower ball joint replacement

I think my 04 Limited with the daystar 2.5/1.5 with kumho mt51 265 70r17's might need new ball joints, starting to hear some clunking noises when i turn... Now my question to this great site is i know uca's can be expensive but can i just replace the upper ball joints along with the lowers? Does anyone have a write up or can point me in the right direction?

Try to find some 5th gen UCAs that people are taking off for lifting. Can probably get some free or dirt cheap and they're the same iirc
