What Do You Use to Clean Your Coil-Overs?

After a recent trip to Tahoe my Coil-Over look like a mess.

I heard its best to use a petroleum based degreaser. And some say WD40 also.

What products do you use to clean with? Share your secret with us please.

I've only ever used a power washer w/ soap. Coilovers have been great for many many miles.

I feel like some Simple Green would probably do the trick if they're real grimy, and Fluid Film to keep the rust away.

Looks grim-ier than regular dirt.
Might need basic degreaser with some agitation.

If you really wanna go OCD, I'd use some "spray and rinse with high pressure" waxes like Turtle Wax Seal and shine/Meguiars Hybrid Ceramic/Mothers CMX for easier cleanup "next time". Stupid easy to apply, no need to physically touch/remove, and lasts months.
