RSG Slider Trimming

I just ordered a set of angled sliders from RSG. I have an 06 limited. Someone mentioned something to me that trimming might be required. Anyone have any experience with this? If so, I might need to cancel my order and go with another brand or flat sliders. Thanks in advance!

I don't see anything about those sliders that would require trimming. Ever think to ask RSG about it since they designed and made them?

Apparently the kickout sometimes interferes with the rear door. I did think to ask them, but they just said "Depends on your trim package." Nothing concrete.

My White Knuckle sliders are more angled than that and clear the door fine. They have about an 1/8" but no modifications required.

FWIW they say the same thing about their 5th gen sliders, and when I had my 5th gen I did no trimming whatsoever to install them. I even pushed them as far up as they would go.

I went through this a couple of years ago. After mounting the right side angled RSG slider, the rear door could be opened only a few inches. The interference from the slider would have required cutting away not only the plastic cladding on the outer surface of the door, but sheet metal on the door itself about the size of a paper back book. I can't imagine any cognitive state where that sounds like a swell idea.
