AC Dash Control Panel Bulb Replacement

I have a 2006 Limited 4Runner. Multiple bulbs have burnt out in my AC, Clock control panel in the dashboard. I've seen where guy have said they replaced with LEDs instead of lame OEMs that keep bruning out... I'm trying to follow thread links but they are too old or something, not finding what exact LED's I need here.

Can someone help me with where I can buy LED lights to replace the OEM's and what their part numbers are (Any direct link would be appreciated!!!)?

Thanks!

Disregard... Just read somewhere that there is soldering involved to get these LEDs installed, so I'm going to pass on going that route and replace all with OEM's - hopefully I can get another 10 years our of them.

Well... now some of these LED bulbs look like they don't need to be soldered to replace these bulbs

Can anyone confirm are these easily plug and play replaceable with the LED's from somewhere - if so... which kind and where can I grab them?

I don't know about LED but the bulbs below will fit in most locations. They also fit Honda vehicles. At this price you can replace them all at once. I have yet to have one of these fail but I'm sure it will happen eventually. It is a bit more work to replace the bulb seeing you reuse the socket.

Not to derail this thread but I've been dealing with these bulbs recently, (normal, not led). The one for the position control switch, (far right) wasn't lighting up so I decided to switch bulbs with the one for the fan speed until I could order new bulbs. After switching I expected the fan switch to be dark and the position switch to light up. But now neither lit up. So I took the bulb from the center switch, (AUTO, temp control etc) and moved it to one of the other locations. Now none of them are lighting up. I tested all of them for power and ground in case I somehow caused a problem but they all had power and ground. I can only assume with their age they just blew because of me messing with them. I'm gonna be ordering some as soon as I can decide what I want to use. I know this is not really relevant to the OP. I just found it so odd the way the bulbs failed on me, I wanted to tell someone about it, lol.

@importman ... I would agree... with their age and you fiddling with them a bit, I could see how they might have now blown. Bulbs aren't the most sturdy/stout... especially if they're old.

Can you remove one of the bulbs? That way you can see if it's soldered or not. And if it's not soldered, then you can go on a website like superbrightleds.com and find one with same base (plug) as yours.

Also don't be scared of soldering, it's not dark magic.

they aren't soldered... (I think I got confused by reading some other threads and realized there were talking about soldering LEDS for other interior lights, not these that I'm looking to replace)

How do I find one with same base (plug)?

Well those links are useless if someone isn't a: on facebook or b: not a member of that group.

Any chance you can copy/paste the content from there into another post?

just go to the Superbright website and put your vehicle in and it will give you the correct bulbs for your application.
