ARB Roller Drawer Install

I picked up some roller ARB RD945 and didn't find a whole lot of mounting information on TR4. I thought id take some pics and go through the steps I took to mount these guys.

First I took out the carpet and tie down areas in the rear space (no 3rd row seating)

There are two M6 threaded holes towards the front of the cargo area that are used for tie downs, and I added two additional towards the rear of the cargo area using a nutzert tool.

Using the carpet and cargo shelf, I traced a footprint onto a piece of 3/4' Plywood that I bolted to the cargo area, so that I would have a platform to mount the boxes onto.

Once the footprint was cut, I was able to place it into the rear cargo area and mock up where I wanted to mount the drawers.

After I figured out where I wanted to mount the drawers, I drilled out the footprint and planned on using T-Nuts and Flush bolts to hold the boxes down. I lined the platform in some carpet from the depot that matched the ARB boxes (even though not much would be seen). Ive seen some people mount straight to the wood, but I wanted to have a bit of a sound barrier between the cargo area and the wood.

Using the 2 existing M6 nut inserts, and the 2 additional nutzerts that I added, I bolted the platform down using M6 x 45MM bolts and washers.

Before mounting the footprint into the cargo area, I inserted the T-nuts and secured them with epoxy glue to keep them im place while tightening the drawers to them.

Once I had the drawers secured in place, I put it all back together, and now have a great clean cargo area that is "hopefully" thief proof, and great for organizing my daily life as well as all my gear when I go out wheeling. Next up is the side filler kit that I have to customize for the rear of the 4th gen, but so far i really dig it.

I'm curious as to how much room there is between the back of the drawer system and the seat? I might install one of these in the future but I've got a sub and 4-channel amp that I'd rather not relocate if I don't have to. Think you could get a measurement or some pictures?
