Going from 16’s to 17’s.....

Currently have a 2003 SR5 With 16’s. If I’m correct I’ll need to use a bigger caliper and rotor to use 17” wheels. Is this accurate? Sorry if there’s a thread, I couldn’t find one. Finding 16” wheel in decent shape is nearly impossible!

You can go 17's as is. If you have sport brakes, you can't fit a 16, that's it.

No need to. You're putting larger diameter wheels, they'll clear your present front brakes just fine.

and see if the 1st gen tundra rotors and calipers that are a 3rd gen upgrade are applicable to your truck. I think 16s fine. Heck the tires are cheaper and there are more sizes..

Great news. Guess I had bad info. Time to start searching 17’s. Thanks everyone!

Stay with 16s, tires will look meatier and they're cheaper too.
