Headlight stopped working after removing assembly

This is one has me stumped, I have removed probably 20 different headlight assemblies over the years but have never run into this issue. I pulled out the headlight on my buddy's 06 to change out the fender, and when I put the assembly back in, only the low beam won't work. It is very straightforward, 3 plugs which I pulled off and put back in, so what could cause it to stop working? I checked fuses which are all fine, and tried a new bulb which also did not work.

Use a meter and check for voltage at head lamp connector. If absent, maybe the wire harness got damaged when swapping out the fender.

I’d trace the harness and make sure no wires got pinched when the new fender got installed. Also check the plug end for damage to the pins.

As previously mentioned, a voltmeter will help you in determining the cause
