Factory OEM alarm or aftermarket alarm?

Last night the alarm on my 06' started going off last night randomly, granted it was pooring rain for about half hour prior. It's also one of those alarms thats not sync when activated and sounds like a childs in the driver's seat and honkin the horn. I checked all dome lights, inserted the key, dis/reconnected the battery, and it would still alarm after locking/reactivating. I took it to the dealer and they said i had an aftermarket alarm installed and it would be $150 to remove it and retain the factory oem alarm. Legit? Finally to address my main question, in the picture, is this alarm indicator light factory oem or aftermarket? Thanks!

That's aftermarket. Unless it's something that was installed at the port. But most likely aftermarket.

Thanks importman, basically just want to confirm if anyone else has this indicator light and if so, if they know if they have an aftermarket alarm installed. Seems aftermarket alarms are unnecessary and just cause said issues

Totally. I removed plenty of them when I ran my own shop. Way more trouble than they're worth. I'll be curious to see if anyone else responds. Seems like I remember some Toyotas had a port installed system that was a Toyota provided system but not the regular factory system. I'll be watching to see how this goes.
