Hmm, a dirt bike probably won't sag you too much, as long as there isn't much else in the vehicle. You won't really be nose up, your back end just won't have a ton of clearance.

I'd talk to battle born offroad and/or eibach direct if you are really concerned about it. They can give you the ins and outs of what combos of weight will do with what lift springs. The nice part is a rear spring swap doesn't require an alignment or anything, and can be done in your driveway with a basic jack in about an hour.

Just like Justinbuckley I'm looking at these for my 03 with ~150k.

This kit sounds pretty good and is on sale at TireRack right now.

gimlithepirate, what spring did you put in the rear? I like that this comes with the fronts but figure probably worth replacing the rear as I will also tow camper with this.

Lastly, I assume you put new upper mounts on the front?

If you get the 5th gen versions, they have an adjustable coilover option as well. Even the rears have an adjustable spring perch. I wish they made them for the 4th gens, but it should be compatible.

I'll ask just in case but I'm assuming this isn't the best option: I also have a 2012 FJCruiser with about 90k miles. Suspension on it feels great still.

Would there be any good reason (if possibility) to swap that over to the 4runner, and save the upgrade $$ for the FJ?

I used a SwayAway coil because someone on the forum was selling one cheap. I resold the springs from my Eibach kit locally so the upgrade cost me like 25$.

The SAW coils are pricey. I'd probably just do a Toytec Superflex rear if I didn't find a deal.

FJ Cruiser and 4th gen are identical except for a few very specific elements. Suspension should be 100% identical.

My 0.02$: If the FJ is your crawler, swap this over to the 4runner and buy Dobinsons long travel for the FJ.

Apologies in advance, I do not mean to hijack original thread... but anyone else think that Eibach Pro-Truck rear coils are a little too short and replaced them with some taller coils?

Long-term on the Eibachs

Considering the Eibach Pro Stage 2 with additional weight leveling in the back -- I haul cargo and pull trailer. Appreciate some feedback from you guys that have been running the Eibachs for a while

265/65 r17

Would this size look bad with the Eibach lift? Have front leveling spacers on now. This kit would add an inch in the rear, the front is adjustable so could leave it at that height or add inch to level. Tires are new so cant upsize those for awhile. Just dont want it looking goofy tall with that tire size and I cant find any pics of this situation. Thanks

I think it would make the tires look small honestly. For perspective, I went from 265/70r17 to 285/70r17's about 6 months after I did the Eibach lift, even though I had just bought the 265's. I just wanted to take advantage of the extra height and fill out the wheel well's better
