Yes I understand "fitment" and trimming issues. Just looking for pics if anyone else has done it.
I'm at about that height in lift. Fits fine, if I really slam it I still hit the fender liner, but I don't really care.

i know this might not help you, but on stock x reas, i was able to do either
285-40r22 and 285-45r22

if you scroll up a few posts you can see mine on saggy XREAS stock suspension. only "mod" was 1.25" wheel spacers. slight rubbing on the body mount at full lock and flexed, and I pushed the front mud panels forward.

2.25" should be plenty for 285s, especially if you get a good alignment.
