So I just had a timing belt done on my 4runner. I was checking under the hood and found that plastic engine cover piece was sitting crooked. Turns out one of the bolt is missing and the mechanic replaced it with a zip tie. Trying to find the replacement bolt. Having heck of a timing trying to find the part number. I’m gonna need the wisdom of the forum.

i was missing one of these bolts as well after some recent work. this forum is such a lifesaver and has really added a whole other level of fun to owning this vehicle.
i was really into the habit of scouring ebay and amazon for these sorts of tiny/cheap parts but this is the second time recently where i saved a lot of money (relatively speaking) by ordering from the dealer. just something to keep in mind if you see a 5 dollar part on ebay and you're looking at a 15 dollar shipping charge.
Same thing happened to my truck. Looks like the stud worked its way out of the mount, and disappeared during a visit to the shop at some point.
After a lot of screwing around to get a nut/bolt on it, I'd opt to either weld a stud onto the mount so it can't happen again or zip-tie it.
I loathe to think of where the nut or will end up when I drop it, forgetting that it's a rhinky install, or 'cuz I have butterfingers putting it back together.
