Recovery points with ARB Bumper???

Anyone have recovery points with an ARB bumper?

The ARB bumper doesn't include any recovery points, and seems to cover the points used by most add-on recovery points.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a front recovery point that's compatible with the ARB?

Thanks
-Rob

It doesn't look like Demello sells a recovery point, just a full bumper. I already have an ARB bumper, just looking to add some recovery points up front.

You continue to use the factory recovery points.

That's the main reason I went with Shrockworks over ARB. That said, I believe you can buy an add-on recovery point from ARB.

I still use the factory ones, seem to be pretty solid unless you bash one into a rock and break it off...

Just confirming that these fit great with the ARB bumper on a 4th Gen.

The factory points will rip off if you are being winched out of a mud hole or a hard spot.

In the past I have simply used a tree strap through one of the arb vertical supports and it's ok.

I plan on cutting a 3/4" piece of plate and bolting it straight to the frame then coming out of the arb bumper where I cut a hole.

Did you have to remove the bumper to access and remove the nut from the upper mounting point?

I didn't.

I was able to get the ARB hardware out, and the new hardware in through the larger hole towards the rear of the truck. It's a bit difficult, but not too bad.

Hi Rob,

How were you able to get the ARB hardware out of the top most hole? I want to do same, but am concerned that the nut will just spin without having a wrench around it. Also, how did you retrieve the ARB nut from within the frame?

My bolt went into a “nut on a stick”. I was able to loosen it and fish the hardware out by its handle. I can post a pic when I get home, but it looks similar to what came with the recovery points.
