I'm new to 4runners and need help

I have a 1990 4runner and i dont know much about it so I've been studying it up lately and i was just curious if someone could help my with parts....I looking into putting 33' tires on it,not to fat, i would like a 3" lift and i'm curious to know if it is a straight swap from the v6 3.0 to a turbo diesel. i doubt it but just curious.

Hi, I'm new to Runners too. I live in Uzbekistan and I'm sorry I can't help you with where to get best deals on parts.
I have a '90 4Runner, just got it about a month ago. I'd also like a lift and am thinking about ordering the body lift kit. I can't lift it too much since my wife then would have even more problems getting in to the car to sit next to me, she is a petite woman... So, I was thinking a minimum lift to put 31' tyres, 33 would be great, but not sure how it would look with a little lift. I currently have tiny 29' tyres which previous owner installed.
And yeah, tires are so expensive here, I don't know how I will afford that.
Sorry, didn't answer your questions, but hey, at least someone replied to you...

Good luck with your project!

Fellas, try Yotatech.com with those questions. This site seems slightly biased toward 4th gens for one thing, and for another, those guys do lots of engine swaps and whatnot so they could answer that question better. That site is geared toward off roading more than this one is. Good luck !

I don't think the site is bias, just a different member base. It's just that there are more 4th gen owners here than the previous gens, so there's more active discussions with 4th gen topics.
