Power steering rack high pressure connection

Can you guys help me out by checking the same spot on your truck? I replaced the power steering rack with all the hoses while doing the timing belt. Now I'm putting it all back together and this connection I don't remember how it was in the original state. Is this thread supposed to be visible or the nut should cover it?

Is that connection on the rack itself or??

Once you reply I'll go and see if I can see it on mine.

Correct, there are two connections on the rack one in (high-pressure) and one out (low pressure). Low pressure clamped but this one is screwed with nut. I can't slap my torque wrench on such configuration so I'm trying to be careful to the o-ring under

I tried to look at mine but I could not get a good enough look at it without maybe jacking up the vehicle and possibly removing the tire it seems, sorry.
