Ticking after oil change

I took my 2005 V6 4runner to the dealership to get a oil change. I went on a cruise tonight with the windows down and heard this ticking noise. It only happens when I accelerate but it doesn't get louder it just get faster. I've replaced the ball joints on both sides and lower control arms on both sides. I didn't have a ticking noise before I took it to the dealership because I would have noticed it. They also removed the baling wire that I used to move the latch to open the hood so I have to make a new wire to check the oil tomorrow. If you would like a video I can send it through email as I don't know how to do it on here. If you have any ideas comment below. I'm calling them tomorrow if I don't figure out the issue myself.

Thank you!

Lifter tick if they didn't fill it up with enough oil?

Check the oil level and report back.

There are no lifters nor pushrods in over head cam engines, which both the V6 and V8 are, the cam lodes are in direct contact with the valves.

Dealer installed wrong oil? Wouldn't be the first time I've heard of it....wouldn't be surprised if they put in 0w-20....5w-30 was the originally specified....

The first thing to do is check the oil level.

I've noticed certain oils make mine tick more than others, and some oils make the engine completely quiet. But the tick only happens at hot idle when present.

Aside from stepping on the gas and rolling down your window, have you done anything to locate the source of the noise?
