Will oem 2018 shocks/struts fit a 2006 4Runner?

Also, if I install OEM 2018 springs in my 2006, how will it change the ride height compared to stock?

Thank you in advance.

Randomtask16 did an excellent write up on installing 2016 trd bilstein retrofit. I used this as guide for my swap.

4th Gen TRD Pro Suspension Retrofit

Good luck!

Local guys claims to be selling a 2018 TRD spring/shock setup but the pics just shows black shock/struts with black springs.

Did 2018 TRD have Bilsteins with red springs?

Also don’t like the drilling of the upper mount.

Do you have a V6 or V8? I have a V8 with Taco TRD pro coils and 5100s, the front end feels too squishy for my liking. I bought the truck like this and I'm looking to go with a full Dobinsons kit soon. Seems like the better way to go, because if you get the monotube or remote reservoir shocks they can be rebuilt, plus you can chat with them and get the springs ordered so they give you exactly the lift you want. They have SO MANY spring options. 5100s can't be rebuilt.

Probably not exactly what you're looking for but I figured I'd throw that out there. IDK why anyone would use V6 springs on a V8. The spring rate simply isn't there.
