Agreed, airbags are the way for coil springs and changing load weights. My RAS system has been great both light offroading and towing.

Get an aftermarket airbag helper set and hook it up to the existing compressor, adjust the ride height sensor for whatever height you want to sit at and call it a day. It will automatically level your truck to whatever you want it to be regardless of trailer or load weight, I would just try to find some working pressures on the compressor and bags to make sure they are compatible but in theory it should be fine no matter what. I'm just guessing this would work, it's what I'm going to do at some point when I get mine lifted but still need to tow with it so I'm very confident of being able to make it work.
