Icon 2.5 w/ king 14" 600. Preload?

Installing some icon 2.5 coilovers with king e300-14-600 springs. Anyone have a suggestion on preload? Should I stick with icons 2.13"?

How much lift do you want? How much lift do you have in the rear?

Preload does the same exact thing as adding a spacer, spacing the spring away from the frame.

You can adjust preload fairly easily on the truck if you don't have remote reservoirs blocking the wrench.

Just want to know what's safe for the coilovers. Want to go as high as possible. No remote Resi. I know the instructions say no more than 2.13 for icon 13" 650 and no more than 1.13 for 14" 700.

I've read on King's shock install instructions/printout that they recommend no less than 1" of downtravel. Doing this will probably net you over 3" of front lift.

So I think you should really be looking at downtravel from ride height and forget the preload distance measurement especially since you don't have the Icon springs anyway.
