Budget radio upgrade with JBL

Hello! Finally I got fed up with my BT module attached to stock JBL radio. It works ok more or less but I want to get a proper nav, large screen etc.

I did a bunch of digging through t4r and found that most of us went with brand name systems like Sony, Pioneer etc.

Well i would too but, i have a tight budget.

So, i'm thinking of getting Atoto A6Y2721PB.

It should work if i get below two items.
1. dash kit
Metra Part # 95-8210 | Toyota 4-Runner Dash kit | Metra Online
2. amplifier interface
Metra Online

So, before I pull the trigger, i wanted to hear your opinions on this radio and also on dash trim kit and jbl interface module.

Amazon has crappy reviews on jbl/metra interface module. I also found this adapter, it has a lot more reviews and they are mostly positive.

Atoto has a version with hand gestures and new bluetooth 5.0 with aptx. Apparently that aptx makes a clear sound through BT audio streaming.

If you're looking at a budget JBL head unit, why not just get a Toyota JBL take off from a Limited Sequoia, Highlander, ETC. Check out Marketplace on Facebook in your area and just make an offer. I can't imagine there's too many people are hot after those. I see one in my area for a Limited Sequoia with voice nav. for $95. That way when you buy your adapters, it nice and clean where all you gotta do is plug and play as they're both Toyota. - Just a thought, unless you're looking for something a bit more fancy then np.
