Another Gibson Exhaust video
Just got the Gibson I ordered this week. Install was easy enough, didn't notice anything I didn't like about it. Figured I'd share a video of what it sounds like. Obviously much better in person, but that should be known anyways. This is with DT LT headers.

Nice, I'm sure you'll like it! Definitely spray down the 4 bolts you'll be removing. Looks like we're in the same area too. I doubt you'll need it, but I can always lend a hand if needed.

Thanks! I'm not anticipating any issues with it as the truck lived in Arizona for five years then California and is super clean underneath. Definitely will be spraying down the bolts well ahead of time though.
May need a hand with the suspension when the time comes for that...

Can I ask your order/delivery date? I ordered mine on the eighth, and my patience has been completely ruined by next-day delivery, so I'm trying to make reasonable estimates as to when mine might come, in the absence of a tracking number

I ordered mine on the 6th and don't have it yet.
Also, I imagine covid has had an impact on shipping. Probably.
That said, I feel your pain.

It's a shame those exhaust tips are so ugly. Sounds great, but I couldn't bring myself to put those on my truck.

Sounds nice man!! Are you using OEM cats? Mine are going bad and my manifold is cracked, so I was going to get DT ST’s, but I don’t know if I can just get universal cats welded on.

Don't remember my order date exactly...but it was just about under a month for me. Gibson is behind and shipping is pretty busy right now. I would check on it if you don't hear anything by June. Sucks, but that's the reality.

I don't really mind them, but I'm not thrilled about them either lol. Purchased solely based on others saying it was the most "tame" exhaust while still putting out better sound. When I pulled them out my initial impression was that the tips were on the verge of excessive. Since I'm catless, I saw others say the side exit helps with exhaust smell, so I opted for it.

Thanks, no cats, I have the LT headers. Check the Doug Thorley posts on here for guys talking about hi-flow cats on the STs. As long as the hole sizes match up I see no problem with running whatever cats.

Thanks man. I just posted a thread with my planned exhaust system here. I think I found the thread you're talking about. Right here. Where he's using the G-Sport cats? Those cats are 2.5" inlet/outlet, and the universal cats I was looking at are 2.25". I'm wondering if the G-Sport cats will give me emissions problems, though. Hmm!
