Question Width Calculations- Can You Double Check Me?

Hey guys! I was having a friendly debate with my friend about how wide our 4Runners are over stock (there's like 4 of us involved in this now) but can you check my math?

Basically the point of this is to make sure I'm not spoofing anywhere to be as accurate as possible.

Friend stated: [88" is typically +4.5" LT with -12mm X9s (idk width) and 315mm tires so idk how thats possible]

----------
STOCK: 73.8" (wheels are 7.5" +30mm offset)

Change to 9" +0mm offset to gain ~2" per side

NEW: 77.8"

Add Spidertrax 1.5"

NEW: 80.8" width

(this is without the added tire width going from 265 to 315 IDK how to calculate that)

Add +3.5" Long Travel

NEW: 87.8"

OVERALL CHANGE: 14"
----------------

Right? Or is there something I am not accounting for? It's nothing serious, just a fun debate between all of us.

What say you?

(PS: He's running +6.5" LT and neg offset wheels so obviously I'm not winning here)

TIA

Also, I got rid of my +3.5" LT kit. It was amazing offroad, but for a daily with as much driving as I do, it just wasn't going to work.

haha what's funny is that I was able to fabricate working, balanced CV's in 14 days while he's taken 2 years. Luckily for him, he's got the V6 which allows him to run without fronts lol. but thanks man! Im sure he will figure it out soon

Wouldn't it be best to just measure everything off of the wheel mount surface? WMS?

You would just need to know the WMS of a stock vehicle. Or do you want to know the total outside-outside dimension for some reason?

at first we were going of off outside of each wheel without the tire, then since we are all running different size tires, we wanted to know outside tire to outside tire. This isn't an accurate measurement though, because I could gain an inch of sidewall by losing 20-30psi in the tires.
