Error code on both rear wheel speed sensors

Vehicle is a 2006 4Runner. Dash warning lights look like a Christmas tree, lol. Check engine, ABS, Traction, are all on, and the speedometer quit working. After multiple searches on this forum, went to O'Reily auto parts for a better scanner readout. It was getting error codes on both rear wheel sensors. I had already replaced all 4 wheel sensors with some cheap ones from Amazon. My question is if the rear axle bearings are worn enough, would this cause error codes from the rear wheel sensors? Seems unusual they would both go bad at the same time. They are not making any noise.

Thanks in advance for any info.

"Cheap ones from Amazon" may be your answer, but why did you replace all 4 wheel sensors to start with? Last week I snapped the wire to one of my ABS sensors in front on my '03 V8 LTD., tried butt connecting wires, no go! Dash lights were on. Got a new harness only and replaced and everything good.

Wiring Harness

Hey, I had the same issue. I think I ended up extending my wiring harness or something during some work on my rear shocks. I replaced my wiring harness for my rear wheel speed sensors and all lights turned off.

At the time, my cheap scanner could not identify which wheel sensor(s) were malfunctioning, so I replaced them all.

I also had this problem. It ended up being my "Skid" module. Replaced with a used one off ebay for $50.

Of course before doing this I checked all wiring going to the rear (there is a plug connecting the 2 rear to the front).

Where is that plug that connects the 2 rear to the front?
