Engine Problem

So I’ve got the P0171 and P0174, I’ve cleaned the maf (DONT know if it’s oem or not it looks pretty new). Put new PCV Valve in, sprayed carb cleaner all over engine nothin. Fuel pressure is around 42Psi. I inserted a new right side exhaust even cat and 02 sensor. And my car is hesitating on take off, terrible mpgs, and fuel trims are at about 26% right off start

i ahd a similar problem with LTFT bank 2 getting as high as 36 percent and bank 1 18. changed all injectors with cheap ebay remans, problem solved, though i sometimes get the CAT codes..so i think i may have damaged the CATS from driving with such high fuel trims for a long period

I’m leaning towards vaccum leak? Because I watched this video.

YouTube

And I have the exact same numbers and problem and I don’t know where it at

in mine, the 2 bank fuel trims dropped to below 1..immediately after i changed the injectors.

if you suspect a vacuum leak, maybe you try the smoke bomb kit or soapy water spray.

Given the bank 2 fuel trims showing excessively high, and no reaction to VOC spray at the intake seals, this reads like a fuel injector problem.

I'd remove the spark plugs on bank 2 (driver side) and read them, post pics here showing the insulator cone and electrode surfaces.

Actually, he is getting high fuel trims at both banks. That would lead me to look at the fuel pressure regulator. I know you measured 42psi, but that may read good at idle only and may possibly be dropping when under load

Good catch, thanks for the correction while I re-read with coffee on board.

i had high trims as well on both banks, with bank 2 being higher... exactly the same scenario, OP is facing. my money is on the injectors.

mine, bank 2 went as high as 39 percent, bank 1 19 percent
