VSC issues again

I’m on a trip right now and I’m having issues where my VSC lights are intermittently going on. I’ve had this issue before when I damaged ABS wires so I’m thinking that’s issue.

A few minutes ago I was driving at 70 on dry clean highway in a straight line and suddenly the traction control locked up something and started beeping and almost threw us off the road.

I have an 04 v8 I’m thinking if I just lock the center diff I can just bypass the VSC system. From what I can remember it doesn’t hurt anything on this 4wd system to drive around in 4wd with the center diff locked all the time correct? Also is the VSC aNd the traction control the same system? Will having the center diff locked disable the traction control completely?

And I just realized that the other times the wire got damaged the ABS light was on too. That’s not on this time.

Plus a few time when I went to accelerate if the lights were off it would feel like it had no power then then both VSC lights would come on and it would drive like normal.
