broken LCA cam bolt, now dash lights are on...

in my struggle to get 35s onto my 4Runner, my latest issue is that 3/4 cam bolts are seized and won't budge. so I PB-Blasted the crap out of them and let it sit for a few days. one started to turn, so I gave it a good knock with a mallet and wouldn't you know, it all started turning...in place...pushing the cam bolt over the bent part that keeps it in place...

anyways, not a big deal as I had already ordered and received new LCAs with the plan of cutting these old ones out.

so I tightened it back up best I could because I needed to drive my truck. but when I went to drive it, the dash is lit up with traction control lights.

is that because the alignment is jacked since one of the bolts basically won't hold the arm in place? will that all be ok once the new arms and cam bolts are in?

No clue on your dash lights but if you need a set of OEM LCA cam bolts send me a PM.

Are you sure you didn't damage the speed sensor or the harness to it while you were fighting with the bolts?

On my first set of LCA's I stretched the thin speed sensor wires. Try a zero-point calibration then inspect/repair/replace your speed sensor wires.

I don't think I touched the wires as all I was doing was trying to loosen the bolts on the LCAs. but I'll definitely check them out.

If it messed up the alignment so much the steering wheel is real crooked when driving straight, it'll turn on a bunch of dash lights from the steering wheel position sensor.

If your alignment is really f***ed, yes - your dash lights will all come on. It happened to me when I hit a rock really hard and knocked my alignment out on the trail. Went to Firestone for my free alignment and all lights went bye-bye!
