Taking parts off a 2004 Limited for my 2003 SR5

I am going to be getting the Sub/AMP from a 2004 limited 4runner. I have a 2003 SR5 and do not have the sub/amp. This will allow me to install a sub and maintain the factory look and not take up space. I was wondering what else I should grab that is available on the limited and not on the SR5. One thing I was thinking of was the rear view mirror with compass. I am not sure if the wiring is there in my SR5. Anyway any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks

The center console piece with the seat warmer buttons. Remove those buttons and you have 2 more spots for switches with easy access. I would also take some bits out of the rear hatch that are common failures but maybe they don't fail as much in your area of the country.

Thanks. I plan to grab the small plate that surrounds the strap for the back hatch. Do you know if the rear view mirror will work?

I'd hate for you to take my word for it but when I bought my 07 Tundra SR5 back in 09 I replaced the stock mirror with one from the Limited with the compass and auto darkening and the wiring was there on it. Please let me know what you find out. I'd like to switch the one on my 05 T4R too.

Importman, I ended up not going down to get the amp/sub because the side cover was damaged. It was over an hour away and that was the main thing I wanted. Take Care.

Here it is

@importman
I purchased #1 new. When I salvaged it, I found the rearview mirror was tied into the harness beside the driver’s left foot. Remove the cover and you will find this plug. The wire is brown with a red stripe. The wire goes up the A pillar, across the top of the windshield to the center console. There is a small black plastic piece that covers the wire from the upper console to the mirror for looks. I have installed a mirror in #3 & #4, so it works.

@V8Man , thanks for the info. When the world returns to normal I’m gonna do this mod. I like both the auto dim and the compass on my Tundra. Thanks again,
