Front suspension "loose change" noise

Hey all. My front suspension has a loose change noise when driving below 30mph. Sounds just like a bad ball joint except, I have TC UCA and LCA with uniballs and no sway bar. My CV axle boots have been torn for a year ish and I'm thinking they might be the issue. Also have Kings 2.5 ext coilovers cranked to about 2.5 ish inches of lift. Any ideas on what might fix it would be appreciated.

This may sound silly, but I had the same issue and it turned out to be that shiny piece of metal that fits over the outer CV castle nut. My cotter pin wasnt large enough to keep it secured.

Not silly at all. I appreciate the idea, but everything in there seemed secure with no play :/

I have the same noise, I couldn't figure out what it is yet but I'll give your suggestion a try.

Are you sure it's coming from the front? I had what I would consider a loose change noise over bumps, but it was from the star key/emergency brake adjuster in the rear. I took it off and took it apart, pumped grease in there and put it back together and adjusted appropriately, no more noise!

Yeah I'm sure it's coming from the front. I try to listen and figure out every noise that appears and this one I can't get. I've been told it's my CV axles because they're ripped and have been for the past 2 years :/ but I'm gonna change them in the next month or two.

Dude i had the same exact noise, sounded like loose change or two washers kinda clinking against each other over bumps. i tried replacing the Sway bar bushings and everything. Turns out my UCA boot was leaking replaced them with JBA and it was fine.

I just did my passenger wheel hub today and that fixed 90% of my clunking. I just need sway bar bushings and I think I'll be quiet. I was sure to get that cotter pin tight on the castle nut though. Sounded like a jar with a few nickles when going through parking garages slowly.
