Favorite a/c condenser for our 4runners - Denso or TYC?

Curious what y'all are favoring these days for the a/c condenser. The a/c drier is mounted to the side from the looks of it but you need to order the desiccant separately.

Amazon has both brands and many more Condenser but only a few desiccant driers. If you have a favorite drier, let me know that as well!

I'm replacing the condenser as a PM while I have the front apart for a DIY bumper project. That condenser has taken lots of rock hits and the efficiency has gone down by quite a bit, I'm sure.

I'll be sure to get the O rings along with the right amount of PAG oil when I open up the system. I do my own evac and a/c recharge.

Thanks

i can't comment about my 4R b/c it still have the original A/C system working like new (knock on wood). However, my 07 Civic didn't fare as well and had to replace the compressor last year. I didn't want a reman so I managed to find a new DENSO one. Freezing cold A/C since then. From what I understand, they are OEM suppliers to Hondas and Toyotas. I would go the DENSO route.

Good luck

I'd opt for the denso unit. It will come with the receiver drier installed with no need to order it.

cool, i'll get the Denso unit and be done with it, especially if it comes with a drier desiccant.

Thanks.

Spring for an oring kit as well. The rings are typically only single use

That's my plan but given that I need only two O rings, not sure if I want a full blown kit or get just the two from Toyota locally.
