Im interested in doing this and the plenum spacer. But I live in Commiefornia. I wonder if both of these will effect my smog check?
Im also a little scared of removing/installing cam gears.

I am the guy that is making/selling them over on TacomaWorld

Currently I am in fact doing these in batches of 10 or more until there is no longer demand for them. I've sold several hundred sets so far and try very hard to make sure I am available for people during install that might have questions or concerns. As seen over on the TW sale page- There are no bad reviews (at the time of writing this) and I can honestly say these are one of the best bangs for the $$

I started making these because they were kind of a mystery/black magic item that was sold by APR back in the day and then they were only sold by URD with the UCON tuning system (~$1400)
Then a bunch of us got together and hired a machine shop to make these but they screwed us and made them all incorrectly (no money back either). I stepped up to the plate thinking I would only be making about 40 sets of these back in the day. I have all the machining tools to cut a very precise keyway so made a jig and got to work. The accuracy to which I am cutting these is down to 0.001" of depth of cut and 0.1 MOA it terms of matching the 3° angle repeatedly.
In other words this is more variation in the gear itself than there is in the re-machining of the gear.

The original 40 sets were such a success that I decided to continue production. Who doesn't want more useable power with better gas mileage after all.

Happy to answer any and all questions,
Sorry for the rambling.

Mine is done, more torque for sure, engine runs smoother. Took me 8 hours to do it.

Apparently cam gear bolts are a pain to loosen/torque due to clearance between cam bolt and engine head, so socket won't fit therefore I have to purchase torque adapter to torque bolts after installing new gears. Like this one.

So here is a video explaining how to use torque adapters correctly.

how have i never seen these before, I've been using crows feet forever and they are a ****ing pain

It was still a 2 man job to loosen/torque that cam bolt. I blew bunch of crow foot adapters in my mechanic days by doing exactly this stupid cam bolt.

I forget what he sells them for, $120?

So, knock $20 off. $100 shipped?

These are unused brand new from him, just sold my rig.

PM me if anyone wants em.

Yes, $120 shipped is my current rate. $100 or $20 off is a great price. Someone should jump on this.
Cheers my friend. Good luck with the sale.

Installation Instructions?

I am very interested in the results as well as the installation process before I purchase these. Does anybody know if there is a public access video or tutorial that someone can share with me? I have found nothing. This post is really the only information about these Cam Gears.
