Do you have any correction on your panhard bar? I kind of think you would be getting excessive side shear load on the shock there if you have a lift more than 3" and no correction.

No, wheelers super bumps. Bump only work for compression. During droop all the axle weight is supported by those 2 small top hat mount studs

It could be from the black threaded top cap on the shock coming into contact with the frame when drooping out, I'm pretty sure mine have some rub marks there, also 2.5" Icon shocks.
This would bind the threaded stud against the frame and potentially snap it.
I remember this happening to someone else on the forum and that was their conclusion. I find it a little hard to believe that the axle 'dropout' force alone would snap the threads as the upper mount bushings flex a little during something like this and take some of the initial force. Especially if you haven't been jumping your truck, but I could be wrong.

Nothing snapped. The stud ripped from the aluminum top hat, thus stripping the top hat. 3-4 threads into aluminum is not much to support a entire axle with 35s.

I've heard of people breaking ICONs, mostly after a lot of abuse, but never seen it documented or even heard of this type of breakage. That stripped out cap would give me pause for sure. They need to reevaluate that design imho.

The coil on my coilovers snapped at the base after two years, but I think I am to blame for not washing them enough in the winter, might have too much preload, and need the 700 springs for my bumper winch setup.
