New Member w/ first question !

I just purchassed a 98 LTD 4x4 and i love it. so much fun.

I need to know what the largest tires I can fit under it stock are. Improbably going to go with some bfg M/T on some 15 inch steel wheels, which leads me to another question.. Where is the best place to get accessories lik wheels and possibly a roof rack for runners ?

so..
biggest tires?
best place to buy stuff ?

thanks guys!

p.s. already ordered my T4R sticker!

...roof rack for runners ?
Yakima and Thule are the big expensive names in racks. There are some for way less $ available on Amazon. These tend to need additional bedliner paint to avoid rust, however. Good luck!

Hi! I’m new to the forum as well.

I just purchased a 2020 TRD Off-road premium about three months ago. I really like it so far, and have been modifying it, as it sounds like you are.

I put 17 inch Method wheels, and 33” Toyo open county AT’s on it with a 3” (spacer) lift.

Some of the plexiglass had to be cut away to keep from rubbing, and after driving a bit, I had the alignment done again, and then the rubbing began again, periodically.

But after cutting more Plexi glass away, I don’t notice anymore rubbing.

So, my answer is 33” fot, but requires at least a 3” lift, and maybe some fine-tuning by cutting some bumper away.

Yes, I think you have to have something like 15 responses first. Likely a spam-fighting measure.

Thanks for the info. Not sure how much I can add to discussions as I became a member to ask some questions. Is there a way I can contact a moderator to allow me to ask questions?
