4th gen LBJ part #
Does anyone by chance have the actual part number? Basically I'm trying to see if amayama.com can sell them from across the pond, but they couldn't locate my VIN in their parts catalog apparently. I've looked all day to no avail, called some local dealerships and the kids on the phome had no idea what I was talking about.
If you guys want someone to direct the pitch forks at, it's
@ y=mx+b
for setting me on this wild goose chase.

I don't know if the Tacoma and 4runner LBJs are interchangable, seems they have different part numbers at the auto parts stores. Regardless, the same method could probably be used to get OEM 4runner LBJs. Just thought I would want to pass this along to anyone interested in this option.

Anyone? I got an email back saying because my VIN isn't in their system, they are unable to search the catalog for that part.
Is someone else willing to try submitting an inquiry with their VIN and see if they have success? Website is amayama.com

I made an account and submitted an inquiry with my VIN number. I'll let you know if I get a response.

I called McGeorge Toyota Parts to ask about lower ball joint PNs, hoping they could get the PN even though we can't get them in the US. No luck, they said only available as whole LCA.
I have a sacraficial VIN that came with a junkyard part I got, so I'll check amayama.com

Sankei 555 makes the oem lower ball joints for our vehicles. Napa sells them, and they can normally be found new on eBay as well. Sorry I don’t have part numbers, but they were fairly easy to search and find.

This is the one you want. Make sure it specifically says “Sankei 555 Brand” in the Important Info field. There are other parts manufacturers that use the 555 castings, but are inferior parts. Sankei 555 is the highest quality and the machining and finish on all their parts is incredible. They are top notch parts.
