White letters in or out?

Read the title. You like the white letters on your tires inside or out? Or does it matter for certain types of tires vs others?

For disclosure purposes my current setup is 4 new KO2s, white letters all out, on a black on black '06.

I liked to have the white letters out on my BFG's and red letters, but with the cheaper tires I have now, I keep them in just because these rubbers have no clout.

In. I think the white letters out are atrocious, well at least the entire letters being white. Outlined white only aren’t terrible though. Just personal preference.

I definitely like the blacked out tire look, but I do think it becomes one indistinguishable look. When every single 4R around has blacked out AT tires they all look the same. I appreciate the sidewall markings on occasion. Always different for every 4R you see.

I think it depends on the truck color.
Like my 2002, SILVER FOX color, I think the letters look GREAT
On my Black one, KiTT, I may also do the same.
On an all white one i think IN is the way to go. It takes away the attention from the rest of the truck.

I have my KO2's with the white on the inside, but it's all just personal preference. And as a few others said, I think it depends on the color and overall look of your rig too.

For your rig, I'd say white out like you have it is best

I like the white letters outside. I think it looks cool, especially when tires are spinning.

My response sounds silly even to me but I would have mine out if it had “Michelin” on one side & the tire type on the other like most other manufacturers do it. Since it just says “Michelin” on both sides, I turn them in.

Personally, white out if you drive a Cadillac, otherwise it looks bogus!

White always in on my 4Runner. I think white on the outside doesn’t look right on a foreign car/truck.
